PEA Visits Milne Bay Province

Last week, Public Employees Association General Secretary Ugwalubu Mowana led a team to the province as part of the Association's provincial visits around the country. The General Secretary said the visit was fruitful — the team met with the Provincial Administrator and his Top Management Team before engaging with public servants at the Media Centre. Insurance was on the agenda, alongside membership recruitment. An insurance proposal was presented to the Provincial Administrator and his Top Management Team for their consideration. Mowana said he is hopeful that the Milne Bay Provincial Administration will consider the PEA's proposal to insure its public servants in the province. PEA southern region executive members Mr. Sipelia Lemeki and Ms. Theresa Dieni, and the provincial branch president Tirah Cyprian were also present during the meeting.
