Public Service International launches PEA Website

The Public Service International Ocenia Sub Regional Secretary Mr. Tom Reddington (Tom Red) in the presence of APHEDA and Australian Council of Trade Unions delegates launched the Public Employees Association of PNG website today at PEA Office. Comrades from PNG Nurses Association and Energy Workers Association were in attendance to witness the launching. Mr Tom in making his remarks congratulated PEA for a job well done and acknowledged the leadership of General Secretary Mr. Ugwalubu Mowana. He emphasised that PEA is part of global family with 30 million plus comrades around the globe and stand in solidarity to fight back for quality public service. It was great to see PEA is engaging with comrades around the globe and one of the ways is to engage in new technology to reach out to members like the website and social media. General Secretary Mowana acknowledged the presence of Australian comrades and other union leaders for their solidarity support. He thanked the effort of the Industrial team lead by Abe Galo'o Matafolu and George D Brown for developing the website. It was a milestone achievement for the Association. General Secretary Mowana encouraged the public servants who wish to join the Association can now access the website to join the Association online.
